 1972

Established Kanagawa Paper Co., Ltd. the predecessor



 1978

Company name changed to Kaiyo Doboku Co., Ltd.

Developed artificial reef block "FP Reef" and conducted demonstration test in Shibushi Bay, Kagoshima prefecture  



 1981

Developed a growth settlement substrate"πBlock"、and adopted it in Mie prefecture



 1991

Developed a breeding reef"SG Block"and adopted it in 6 projects in Hokkaido



 1994

Developed the Giant Pacific octopus spawning reef"Octom"and adopted it in Hokkaido.



 1995

Developed "FP Super", an artificial reef for deep water, adopted by Kagoshima prefecture and 3 other projects



 1996

Introduced an underwater TV robot and started an original underwater survey.



 1999

Developed a breeding reef for shallow waters"FP1.5G"and adopted it in Tokyo and Miyazaki prefectures   



 2001

Developed "FP1.6N", a child protection breeding reef 



 2002

"FP1.6N"was adopted and implemented in Tokushima and Kagoshima prefectures



 2003

"FP reef with thinned wood" is adopted and implemented in various places



 2004

Developed feed fermentation / algae epiphytic substrate "Culbase" and conducted demonstration tests in Aomori and Oita prefectures 



 2005

Developed "FP Super 1030N"

"Culbase" has been adopted and implemented in Aomori, Oita, and Kumamoto prefectures. 



 2008

FP reef is adopted and implemented by "Frontier Fishing Ground Development Project" under the direct control of the Fisheries agency.

”FP Super 1030N" has been adopted and implemented in Nagasaki prefecture.



 2014

Making the most of the know-how of artificial reef design and manufacturing and molding structure, Developed "FP Reef 3.30type" with an emphasis on economy and workability.



 2016

"FP1.5G" and "Culbase attached FP1.5G" wascertified in the eligibility examination of new structures in Hokkaido.  



 2018

Seaweed epiphyte / feed culture substrate "Culbase" is certified,

designated as an "eco-recycle certified product" in Ishikawa prefecture.
